Thank the heavens for air conditioning.

Yesterday, I was oppressed.

Today, it's the riot police.

Yes my friends, the heat has gotten angry. No longer satisfied by merely silencing me, they are shooting me with rubber bullets and dousing me with tear gas.

Hey Fall! Come on in and drop by anytime you're ready.

It's really quite miserable here, too. Heat indexes have been 110-112.

It's only supposed to be 88 here this weekend though!

A beautiful day in Denver
It's a lovely day here in Denver. It's 79 degrees right now. I'll send cooler weather your way. Of course, you can always visit me.

Hot Hot Hot
When New Orleans LLC 8 in 2004, there were some who said "you people need gills to live". I agree with an above comment... "suck it up". We have two seasons here, Summer and February. I learned how to handle the heat when we were cleaning up our home post Katrina. However I agree.. all hail the gods of Air Conditioning.

It was 103 degrees in the shade today
I spend approximately 3 hours a day in the car
The car has no working air conditioning
I have the lovliest aroma after car jaunts
At one point I swooned -it was a pleasant sensation, reminiscent of breath play
Thankfully, I had just exited the car
