Childhood dreams

Did you ever get that feeling where a nice temper tantrum seems like the best idea in the world? Wanting to really let loose, pounding and kicking everything, breaking everything in sight around you, screaming and cussing and violently spinning around the room, not caring what gets in your way?

And then, imagine that after everything was done, and you expended all that pent up rage and frustration and misery from your body by breaking everything in existence around you, imagine that everything would just magically go back to where they were. All good, one piece, no mess, no breakage, pristine.

And there you are, breathing hard, but happy. Calm. Collected. Sated.

Mmmm. Yeah. That would be really nice right now.

Yep.

Sometimes, I can't prevent it from happening.

I'm about ready to have one in my office RIGHT NOW.

I'm waiting for a 3pm, *Tuesday* meeting that HAS to happen before I leave today... today is my ANNIVERSARY...
I want to get HOME...
And the person who I am meeting with has not read the email containing the text for this ad yet!!!!!!

I am about to go postal.

Feel free to use my room while I'm out of town this weekend - it pretty much looks like someone went postal in it, anyway. :)

Yes, I do.
In fact, I think I've written about it. Why does being "adult" mean we never get to lose it? I swear it would feel so much better afterward.

I am sorry you are at that point. And hope you can find a way to safely lose it, vent, beat it out of someone, or whatever will work for you. *kiss*

I hear buying really cheap pottery and smashing it is quite liberating.

*yes...I do...

Unfortunately my tantrums happen on the inside...*behind the curtain and away from peering eyes...*That's why I have to see the doctor tomorrow...

*perhaps a gigantic pillow fight would be better...*s*

I throw tantrums whenever I think I can get away with it, *giggle*

Breaking stuff is a major release. I can't tell you how many times I went to throw something out, but decided it needed to be smashed or burned or something before it hits the trash can.

I've actually felt like doing this in my office. And there have been nights I've done this in my bedroom at home. Though I don't recommend doing it in a basement... I know a 2 year old who did and had to get stitches.
I really want to be 8 for a day. You need to come visit soon :)

Yeah- yeah I do- and I almost did it to my apartment managers today. I actually let some of it out... then yelled at the closet. It helped.

FYI- There is a present waiting for you at Purple Passion from me. Cosinder it a late BDay present to balance out the uber-early BDay present... though the two are unrelated. maybe this is an early BDay presnt for next year. Or some holiday thing. Or maybe it's just cause I love you.

Now, if we could package that in some sort of VR or video game we could make billions.
