Sometimes, it does taste better

Despite the fact that my office orders coffee from the same vendor, day in and day out, and is made of the same stuff, day in and day out, and I always use the same half and half in my coffee, day in and day out...

This morning's cup of coffee tastes as sweet as wine. Yum yum yum!!!!

Mind you, I don't use any sweetener in my coffee.

Perhaps the taste of coffee is directly correlated with how much you need it. That your taste buds recognize it as something orgasmic when your body is cursing your very existence.

I admit it... I've been burning the candle at both ends. Me vewwwy sleepy. Sleepy enough that I might even be able to break my habit and actually sleep on the plane tonight as I head to Dallas for South Plains Leatherfest.

Life, man, what an adventure. And they it gets even more interesting once you turn 30, right? Wow. Far out.

So the building superintendant just brought the exterminator into my office. And what does he do?

He starts to put down a pathetic snap mouse trap!

Immediately, I looked at him. "What are you doing? Those things never work! In the 10 years I was in the pest control business, the only thing I caught with those were humans."

He stared at me open mouthed, blinking.

Then I rattled off the various brand names of rodenticide that would work best.

At that point he clearly found himself in front of a superior, and immediately starting writing down his next steps.

Hah! Still got it.

Ha ha... still here!

Hello world! I'm still in NYC! Woo-hoo!!!! *thud thud thud*

I'm sitting next to lolitasir, enjoying the fine wireless service that LaGuardia's terminal has to offer (only $6.95, for as long as you are in the terminal!)

Our plane is set to leave now at 10:30 PM. It's about 10 to 9. So, the seven bucks looks to be well spent.

Hopefully, the next time I post I'll actually be back in NYC after the weekend.
