My computer is up and running back home in Brooklyn, so its a great start. Having my computer working is a big compenent in me feeling comfortable where I am.
It was really intense seeing all my stuff get put into a storage container, and then get locked up by my own hands. I get a can be a little materialistic - I love my stuff, I am proud of my stuff, and it made me sad to put it all away. It was as if I imprisoned them.
Moving te fish was quite the adventure.. I swore they would hate me, poor guys. Being chased around by the scary green net, forced into a scary ugly bucket, and tossed and turned on bumpy NYC streets. Setting up the tank was my 1st item on the agenda once I arrived in my temporary shelter. Of course, Murphy had to butt his head in, forcing my filter pump to die on me. Have a makeshift filter going right now, will call and replace the original come Monday.
So, I'm here everyone. I'm alive, no one was killed, except for perhaps my wallet.
See y'all on the flipside, or something cool like that.
