Run-and-gun Monday

Me thinks by the title that I should stop my obessive playing of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. (The PC version rocks, I should say here.)

Getting into a car and driving after a marathon of playing that game is an interesting experience. For the first few seconds, I had to convince myself that yes, the car I was driving was mine, I did not jack it. Ha!

It's going to be a balls-to-the-wall week, full of work. If you haven't heard from me in a while, and would like to, please know it might not be til the weekend. Maybe. Argh.

The weather in NYC is making the foot fetishist in me very happy.

I have great friends. Last nights conversation (therapy session) helped me go to the sleep. Thank you rogueboi.

Would you visit me if I lived in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn?

For someone who plays with fear regularly in my SM play, I am awful sick of being scared. I need to get past this.

I highly recommend The Bronte Project by Jennifer Vandever. In addition to Jennifer being the sister to someone I consider a friend, it is a truly delightful read. I am halfway through, and find myself inexusably drawn into a off-the-beaten-path romance story. I would offer up poignant quotes that correlate with my life, but there are just too many. Any book that makes go, oh, that's me, is one that is worth reading. At least for me. Anyway...

This was a good post. For me to poke a head out of my funk is a good thing indeed. Let's see if I can make it last a bit.

I love Bay Ridge. There are awesome restaurants and shops... it's just a nice area in general.

I already do visit people who live in Bay Ridge. There are better places to live but I wouldn't mind it.

Bay Ridge doesn't seem all that far flung to me - but then, I'm a Jersey girl these days.

Glad you're enjoying Jennifer's book!

Seriously, isn't it a fun challenge to get upto three or four wanted stars and then try to race a complete circuit around the map without getting cought? I've done it with three easy... I'm working on four.

Or maybe it's just me?
