A resurfacing, but just for a bit.

People are starting to leave already for Leather Retreat. Others are busy packing, and getting ready to leave tomorrow or Friday.

And for the 1st time in quite a few years, I won't be going with them.

It never hit me that I am not going to the event until now. Now, I'm very sad to be missing it. LR is really one of my favorite events. I consider it my annual vacation... my time to relax, play when I want, have sex when I want, and not worry about keeping any schedule except for eating.

I love OINK cabin. I love how lolitasir and I put together our dream team every year. I love being with her at the event... grounding one another.

I'm very sad now.

But there was no way. I am such a ball of stress... the morning of Leather Pride Night, I woke up with blinding shoulder muscle pain... and I am convinced it was due to all the stress I am going through. A friend actually gave me an upper when he saw me at LPN - because just saying hello to him made me practically burst into tears.

TESFest is just around the corner. Work is heavy. I can't quit now.

I just need to make it to July 4th. Then I can fall down.

Almost there.
Then we can all fall over and go boom.

I'll be in on Thursday if you need anything done early on Friday of the event.
Just don't forget to breathe.

Sue and I feel exactly the same about LR. It's such a great event. What do you think the likelyhood is of it happening next year? I heard Greg is moving to CA, do you think someone will pick up the baton?

Programming is fantastic, and will go smoothly, dont worry.

The first year Jason and I went to LR, we went in, got set up, walked to get a bite to eat, and I said, "We're definitely coming back next year." Within ten minutes, it felt like home. It hurts not to be going this year, and I've only gone for two years.

Is there anything I/we can do to help make this a great weekend for you to lessen the blow? Maybe brunch before Gay Pride on Sunday, or something low key like dinner and a movie on Saturday?

This post made me cry. I can't begin to tell you how much I will miss having you there. I know it will be okay because I have Oink! and a bunch of playmates there. But still, it's going to be difficult.

You know.

Yes, after tes fest is over you can fall down and go boom and if you're still on the floor when I get there then I shall pick you up as best I can. :-)

i'm so sorry you are missing LR, but i can sympathize. This is one of the events that makes me want to quit my job so i can attend. One year ...

PLEASE use your resources! You have so many people who will lend a hand and help by taking little projects to make your life easier.

And, of course, you and eisa know will give a massage any time i see you ... just ask.

I hear you. July 4th is close. I know all your hard work is appriciated by your community. When it's time to fall, there are lots of welcoming soft places for you to land. If you need some extra string and rubber bands to hold yourself together until then, I am willing to put together a little box of them and ship it right out. Hang on nice man.

i've *never* gotten to go! Whaaa! All the whining that You're doing is making me regret not being able to go even more than usual.

But look on the bright side - You're unlikely to end up with mosquito bites in unusual places while You're at work...
