One blink, and it's gone.

That was quick.

Not even 2 minutes ago, I was alerted to look outside my office window by a co-worker - it was snowing! Honest to god snow, with white skies to boot.

We both craned our necks to look outside and marvel at it. I was beginning to doubt it would ever come. But there it was - SNOW! (It should be noted here that I normally despise snow due to my 4-year sentence in Syracuse.. but with this whole global warming thing going on, I can appreciate some small return to normalcy.)

I turn back to my computer, type something out, and then turn back to the window.

Gone. No snow. Blue skies. As if it never happened.

How do the books/woo-woo people interpret hallucinations of snow?

well the smell in the city the other day?
was a chemical so we could all experience a delayed hallucination of snow today.
:)

Wasn't that nice of them?

hehe.. I thought I was imagining it yesterday when the same thing happened.. but judging how friggin cold it's gotten.. I don't think it's a hallucination. :)

All things considered... there will be snow again. Hopefully.

I hope I didn't just jinx it!

I came out of the subway into the sight of snow flurries... it felt like magic. It felt even more like magic when it stopped five minutes later. As if I'd imagined it.

I never thought I'd welcome the sight of snow so much. Come back, flurries!

Are you sure it wasn't ashes blowing in from New Jersey? ;-)

You're welcome to all of our upstate snow. I sure don't want it.

I will try to send some your way
Here in beautiful Cleveland, it has been snowing all week. Mostly, downtown it is horizontal as the wind whips it through the streets. I have to say, it is quite pretty, I like the snow.

I will do a snow dance to send it your way!

Was really wild. It went from the stray flake that makes you say, "is it actually snowing?", because they are so small and sparse, to a full on blizzard, to shiny and clear.

Truth be told, since I'm driving into Manhattan tonight, I will count my lucky stars that it stopped.

Don't know what the books would say. Yet perhaps, it simply is a reminder to appreciate what *is* - what occurs - in any given moment, be it snow or blue skies. It's all a gift.

Respectfully,

You Want Snow? I've Got SNOW!
I have plenty. I'd say there's still at least 18 inches on the ground at my house and I have piles that are at least 3 feet deep and it's supposed to snow the next 3 days. You're always welcome to come for a visit.
