All I'm saying is, Atlas would fucking crumble under the amount of weight I've had on my shoulders these past few days.

I can't stand hospitals. And there is no light whatsoever at the end of the tunnel.

Having a day like you're having is what led me to open my LJ years ago. With all the time I've spent visiting hospitals in the last month, I feel you. Light or no light, hang in there.

Come Frolicon I will give you a nice massage to break the stress out of your shoulders and back. You could have it sooner if you lived in GA.
Stay strong. You'll make it.

Yeah, willowrrain is doing at least one class using massage at Frolicon. Maybe, you can be her demo boy.

Oh dear... Clay.. clearly we need to have a little discussion about the natural balance that kinda falls between me and this fellow. You did however make me snort soda up my nose when you sugested to him that he could be my "demo boy."

Saints preserve.

However, I will offer that I am going to be covering a floor routine where you use your feet to do basic simple bodywork on someone laying on the floor with the giver standing. It's geared toward tops working on bottoms, but it could be used by anyone. Feel free to send someone with adorable toes to learn at the class. I know you love cute toes. Point them out to me and sit them in the front row and I will insure that they learn. :P

Not that you want to hear any of this during your time of stress. Hugs await you down south.

And coffee

no sugar,
that's all.

Were there a way to truly comfort you, I would. The best I could do would be to paraphrase ecclisiastes...to everything a season and a time, good and bad in turn, day following night following day. All things, good and bad, all times and people (most sadly), have their time and are precious because they are destined to end. In all things, good and bad, "this too shall pass." No joy is forever, nor sorrow.

No comfort, I know. All I can truly do to comfort you is offer an ear, a shoulder, a friend. Let me know what you need and it is yours.

Listen, I'm rooting for you. Hospitals are tough. They smell a certain way and it's not aways easy dealing with the hospital staff. At least you'll have fun later.

My heart goes out to you, as I went through a similar experience recently where hospitals/medical care followed a routine without acknowledging, or preparing my family for the inevitable.

::Hugs tightly:: I know times are tough right now. Just know that you have all of us to keep you going. You're surrounded by people who love you, and will gladly do whatever we can to be here for you, myself included. You know where to find me if you need me.

I'm so sorry. Take care of yourself. Or have someone take care of you for you.
