Third Frolicon post.

Some quotes that I want to never forget:

Thursday night, trying to safeword after a random assault from my hands on taliakit - "Dayenu! Dayenu!"

Saturday, after my incest roll play work shop, I get a visit from the aforementioned medic sitting in my class - (paraphrased, unfortunetely) "So, hey there, it's strange. They sent us into your class to watch over and treat anyone who passed out or had other problems. I can't figure out why they sent me though... I mean, I have a psychology background, so maybe they figured people would need help there..."

Re: Hmmm
Oh, I wouldn't let these quotes scare you off. The crowd does tend to run a little more SM 101 than not - don't forget, this isn't a kink-only event. This is born of the sci-fi con scene, and gets a huge cross-section of people. There is a lot of stuff that doesn't happen at traditional SM events - for example, a lot of drinking. A whole lot of it.

I'll call you and we'll talk.

'Dayenu' as a password? Hilarious. Makes sense. Passover was a week ago and Frolicon was over Easter weekend?

Passover was April 2- 10 and Frolicon was April 5-8. Passover and Easter (and therefore Frolicon, which is always on easter weekend) happen around the same time of year due to some pretty obvious reasons if you're knowledgeable of the easter story (the one with zombie Jesus in, that is, not the easterbunny and chocolate stuff).

Ode to Boymeat
One night attending Frolicon
the tee shirt fairy came,
and left a shirt upon my bed
of T.N.G.'s past fame.

I asked Milady if she knew
who came and left the tee.
She said, she had no clue
but that the shirt must be for me.

We pondered long, and pondered hard
the mystery to resign.
Then Boymeat walked into the room
and said, "That shirt is mine."

So just to walk in Boymeat's shoes
his tee shirt I put on.
The postman now returns
another memory of Frolicon.
