Video clips and diagrams of yourself using floggers, canes, and the like. You complain about experienced people who are still doing it wrong. Show us how to do it properly, for the record.
I can't really answer that question without knowing what you need the website for - What would be your purpose for creating the website ? (I'm sitting here racking my brain, and I can't figure out why you would want or need one)
I agree with lots of others - it depends on what the point is of having a site in the first place.
If it's as a nationally-known presenter? Then I'd include a list of the classes you currently teach (with description of each and your needs - is it a two hour class? Do you need a large room, suspension frame, etc.), how to contact you about teaching, and what your requirements are to travel somewhere (pay for airfare, pay for hotel, etc.)
You could put your scene travel schedule on it - where you're going to be and when and what you're teaching or doing there.
Perhaps a section on resources you recommend for scene skills and knowledge - books, websites, groups.
Personally, I feel pretty satisfied with what I get from reading your LJ.
Well the first question is, simply, do you need one? "Just because you can doesnt mean you should" is an important lesson in branding.
If it were my site (something I'm sorta working on at the moment), I would make sure there is:
1) a resources page. You have more than above average knowledge and resources available to you. Being able to share them is a great thing.
2) an events page. Gotta tell us what's coming up throughout the country/world, especially those you are going to be at.
3) a boymeat "pic(k) of the day." Lets you show off something you want to. I'm not sure if its necessary for verification for 2257 applies to personal websites, so try to keep it cleaner until you know for sure. Of course knowing you, half of them will be feet at first hehehe
4) a contact page. you can do a form or go through email (or both). I like a form because it can prevent your email from overflowing. but not necessary depending on where your mail server is.
5) A section dedicated to your notes from classes/teaching styles. this might be a bit much, but short video clip examples of techniques.
6) An advice section? Let people ask you questions and have them answered on the website
I suppose you could have an animation that says "please to meet you" and then have the "m" in meet transform into a "B" by flipping on its side and an "F" by standing straight up.
What about a web comic? It can be about anything, an original plot or your adventures at events and things. It doesn't even have to be detailed, just stick figures with cut-outs of peoples heads or something.
I personally would love to see your classes in text form concentrating of course on the things that you dont physically usually show people. A question and answer forum might keep you busier than you ever anticipated but I think would also be a nice touch. How about the situations you see that make you cringe and things you saw in play situations that you think are noteworthy *in a good way*
On the whole as others have said it really depends on what you want up there.
This site is fine. Perhaps a few extra features, like a bigger blogroll.
A calendar of your appearances.
Unfortunately, someone's already bought boymeat.com. How about "boymeat.us?"
Wordpress is good because it can function as a small content management system. In other words, you can add pages. And I see you still have your Blogger account. I don't think you should move from here.

Sort of like what Jefferson does....but in a Boymeat sort of way.
;)
Unless you are turning Pro or sharing a part of your life what is the appeal?
I'm just curious as to what the impulse is to do it.
The why now.
I mean obviously you are not building it. All due respect.
Yeah, I don't see anything like that appearing on website. Nope.

the only thing you don't have that I would want is a live feed
...and perhaps an aquarium cam
You could have lots of cams
- Boymeat shower cam
- Boymeat fish cam...
- Boymeat bed cam...
Or you could have just one cam and turn it on the fish when you're not there

My initial response was, "porn." Then I thought about it, porn is easy. Porn is everywhere. It's almost over done. (I said almost.)
Then I thought, "something interesting" but that's defined by each individual.
Isn't the real question, "what do you want to put on it?"
What ever you do, don't just have an opening page like me... that gets annoying afer a while...
Are you going with Boymeat dot net? (Or com or any of the others?)
