Atlanta part 3.

There were so many things that made me happy this weekend. Here is just a small selection, in addition to my two previous posts.

Assisting in the collaring of feyrieprincess. Seeing as I was her first, and she mine, it felt right for me to be there. It was amazing that timing worked the way it did. sirwinterwolf had received the goods just as the contest let out for its intermission. As a judge, I couldn't miss any of it, so I ran out to enjoy a smoke while I could. I ran into everyone, and next thing I knew, I was holding the darling Feyrie's hair up so he could snap the collar around her neck. It was beautiful, and represented an almost passing of the guard for me. Not that I plan on exiting her life by any means. Thank you both for letting me be a part of it.

Right as I'm about to begin teaching one of my classes, a gentleman walks in with a cup of coffee in hand, prepared just as I like it. It turns out that willowrain managed to touch me even though she couldn't attend the event - she arranged for the coffee delivery from afar. Bless you. *kiss*

I had befriended shdwkitten and emrys_nc during past Frolicons. We had discovered that shdwkitten had actually shared by overwhelming love for the Muppets. So, on Friday night, they managed to run into me, and gifted me with an amazing hand-crafted poster entitled "Muppets in Leather." It is downright hysterical! I will work on sharing this with you all, and it will be framed and placed on my wall to be treasured. Thank you!!!!

Riding into the event with my leather family, holey1, mglthr and boy_cru was the perfect way to start the event. Any amount of time I get to spend with them is such a treasure. And to think, in just a little over a week, I get to spend a whole 5 days with them!!! Woo-hoo!

I had the bestest roommate in the world in the leathernomad. We got to have lots of quality time, and a wonderful and intense cathartic scene in Saturday. He's wandering around Peru as we speak. Truly living up to the nomad name.

As I stated above, I really appreciate it when I can spend time with my favorite people. Two of these people are victoriakg and lthrlibrarian. I enjoyed a meal with them, and lots of lovely downtime. As an added bonus, victoriakg and I plotted against her slave. This will be so much fun when it happens. Bua-ha-ha!

Judging was actually a lot of fun. I had a great panel of judges to work with, and got to know all of the contestants much more than I did going into it. It was hard work, but work that I enjoyed. And Darryl Flick should be the MC of everything.

I was bought in the celebrity auction by none other than Master Steve, of Butchmanns Academy. He and I consider each other friends, but we have never been able to spend real quality time with one another. Judging with him gave me the opportunity to bond even more. Of course, once he started bidding on me, I feared a TES Fest all over again! I went for $200, and after admitting to me that he didn't want me as a bottom, for he would kill me (and I believe him...), he will be gifting me to someone as a top. I can't wait.

I'm sure there is more I could write about. But, all in all, I am very happy I went.

Oh, and if you want to read more, go see kathryntact's write up of our weekend here.
