To add insult to injury...

I really hope that TENS unit gets here soon, and works.

Because I really need to pee, and I can't even stand up to go to the bathroom is that is right outside my office door.

You have all my empathy and sympathy. I hate it when my back goes evil. :(

*gentle hug*

Ugh, sure hope you feel better soon. FYI - be careful if you try and walk with the tens unit on. Your muscles will adjust to the pulses when relaxed. Movement can intensify the effect.

On the bright side, if you DO lose control maybe your boss will think that you're so dedicated that you're willing to soil yourself in the name of efficiency!

You poor thing. I've been dealing with back issues for a while and it sucks. This might sound silly, but are you in a rolling chair? Can you roll it out the door to the bathroom? If you gotta go, you gotta go.

I hope it gets better soon.

I know you're in pain but...
Damn it that sounds kinky to me. :)

I pervert my TENS unit for my back when it goes out too... I find that I have to change the settings regularly for comfort, but it definitly works to keep things just a little bit looser so I can still go about my day without seizing up and being an agonized little ball. Mine usually lasts 2-3 weeks, usually by the end of it I'm laying on the floor in an emergency room waiting room - but hopefully if you're looking at a week - the TENS unit will help. That plus drugs. Good Luck.
