He's still typing. Why?

Just had a little chat with someone in my office building who is planning her bachelorette party. How she has to tone down the wildness due to conservative party, and how she's encouraging her husband-to-be to live it up at his bachelor party at a strip club.

We can all agree that the bachelor/bachelorette party is generally designed for vanilla folks to really live it up for an evening, doing the naughty things that they wouldn't often do. Or, shall we say, sometimes the opposite of their daily life.

So what would I do during my bachelor party? Seeing how I live my life and what my typical weekend consists of... I suppose my bachelor party would have to get totally wild at a library or knitting cafe.

"Hey Phil, let's go to a strip club, dude!"

"Oh, right. OK. Yawn."

My best man, who is vanilla, but is fully aware of my lifestyle, told me that his biggest concern was planning my bachelor party. He felt that there was nothing he could do to live up to such high expectations.

He commented, "We're going to have to kill a hobo."

I explained to him that a steak house and strip club was just fine.

My bachelorette party was playing pool with the bachelor party, and being forced to leave at midnight to avoid bad luck. *um yeah that worked.. not*

I did go to a fun bachelor party once though that was in a Sons of Italy. I don't think strippers was the correct name for what these ladies were, but one of them had a double tongue piercing and was a good kisser.

it's one of those private club american legion type places where groups of men congregate to drink except I guess it's for Italians.

Marc felt the same way about the idea of a strip club, so he, his brother and his two best friends at the time flew to Tampa for the weekend, went scuba diving, ate at a great steak restaurant and played golf.

1. I got lucky, in that our friends who are not shy about sex/kink planned our bachelor/bachelorette party. Plus, Chris's bother worked at a strip club (as a bouncer), so we got good strippers. There was plenty of alcohol, and good food...and hot naked chicks...including most of my female friends. Mmmm....

2. They have knitting cafes??? WHERE?!?!?

Your bizarro world bachelor party would be held at a monastic retreat, my friend. And that is why we love the Phil.

My son-in-law actually invited me to his bachelor party. He noticed after a while that it was "ho-hum" for me and commented that "this must be pretty lame compared to what you do most weekends." (We're out with our kids)
His friend asked what would make it more interesting. I responded "start with a few hundred feet of rope and some whips and we'll start talking."
Yeah, strip clubs really are tame.

Since we hang out at the local dungeon like every weekend, and the fiance isn't into strippers (go figure that out), i think his plan is a nice dinner and gaming with the boys as a bachleor party.

i think us girls are going dancing and drinking. i was specifically asked "how humiliated do you want to be at your bachlorette party?" though.

I didn't even have a bachelorette party. Didn't feel the need, really. :)

Jason was planning a bachelor party, but it never really happened. His version was basically going to be some version of wings-and-games. (Like a Dave and Buster's kind of thing.) He was totally with you - with the way we liveour lives, you really don't need a strip club experience as a "hoo, boy, I'm gonna get WILD!" experience.

I totally disagree about the strip club thing. Maybe for a bachelor party it's rather ho hum but I think strip clubs are a well kept secret for a comfortable enjoyable night. As a girl, when I was out to clubs alot, we just didn't go to strip clubs, but the guys did. They were this mystery that we didnt really know about.

Now, if someone wants to go grab a drink or watch a football game, I'll suggest one or two strip bars I've come to like. I feel they are twice as comfortable as regular bars. You can visit with friends, drink and watch girls with great asses dance all night. If you want to part with 20 bucks you can watch her up close for a while and then go right back to talking to your friends in the comfort of a soft upholstered chair. I guess I don't look at it as a wild experience, just a club where I can have a drink and take in a little nice scenery.

The girls LOVE to dance for Me and the guys love it that they love it.

Besides the bachelor/bachelorette party are not for the bride or groom to be but for all the other married folks who do not get out enough.

Mine was a night in AC, dinner and then a stripper in the room, actually there were 2 of them, oh yes I almost forgot about this, my friends who know I am kinky told the stripper to bring rope to tie me up. It was really lame but we had a good time and alot of laughs. Then we went to a club and everyone was toasting to my last night of freedom, meanwhile we went to a swingers resort on our honeymoon.

Ken went to AC also and had some strippers but I am not suppose to know that. I think there is some vanilla oath between married men at a bachelor party not to tell women what happened. Whatever!

BTW we are still alive and trying to get the house ready for our first party.
