If I had a million dollars...

I wish I could spend frivolously. Because if I could, I would without a doubt be bidding heavily for this. (Observant people will notice I bid not so heavily, and was laughed at by the eBay gods.)

It's not frivolous; this item is an essential!

Not more essential than rent, unfortunately. *le sigh*

Paying rent on time is so, comme il dit, bourgeois!

Those are really hot looking 'cuffs, not gonna lie.

Pity these lovely things can get so expensive though, isn't it?

They are quite delightful. And rare. I find it fascinating what different kinksters will budget what for. The price listed is less than what I've seen people pay for custom boots, single tails, corsets, weekend trips to events, etc- its interesting to get to peek into what you spend money on and what you won't- its something I debate regularly. I'll post that pic for you soon :)

Holy fuck. I just got wet, and then closed up tight as a drum when I saw the price.

~sigh~

They will be yours. Someday, they will be yours.

Makes me want to get into metalworking! Here I am, trying to figure out how to make something similar.

These are fairly cool looking. I love the old-style key especially. It looks like pewter kind of steel. Plus I love anything that makes a noise (like chain) when you shake it struggling to get free. :) Cool pic! I send good vibes your way - - may you win the Lotto.

There are literally dozens of reproductions like those on eBay all the time, made by companies in India and Pakistan. They really don't hold any interest for me - I'm much more into the authentic pieces. I have a few authentic British and American Darbies that are much nicer than those.

*laughing* Well, there are 5 more days to this auction. Wood handcuffs sold on eBay twice last year - once in February, and once in June, both times hitting over $600.

There's only 1 day left and they're not yet over $300... is that a good thing?

I had a high bid of $350 until an hour before auction close - it then shot up to over $700.

I saw that! That's a whole lot of money!

Rent is definitely more important.
