Today, I got to sit in on a special lunch at the Princeton Club in midtown, listening to a financial service company explain how they took a really, REALLY boring business concept and actually turn it into an exciting brand.
What was also really cool about the lunch was seeing people I have worked with for almost 5 years now... and hearing them remark how far I've come in that time. Its nice to feel like I'm really a part of the industry.
This was good.
One pet peeve though - why is it that all business functions like this one ALWAYS serves chicken? No matter where it is, no matter how fancy the restaurant, its always chicken. What is the business community's BEEF (yeah, I had to say it) with chicken?
